Have you been to OCM? Things are starting to trickle in from market! I am soooo excited!
I can't wait to see all the goodies and get my Christmas list updated. I sure hope Santa has an extra large pad of paper for me.
I am amazed by the vests that are being done for the advanced lace class- the colors are wonderful and the yarn forgiving.
A great big thank you to all who knit preemie hats for stitch n pitch- just say contest and batten down the hatches because the girls come through especially Jenny and Peggy. What about those shirts that our resident artist designed! Way to go Gretchen.
Well it is off to well deserved knitting time for me and I hope for all of you.
As always,

I second that!
Yes we are back and Teresa is correct. I talk in my sleep. When the creative juices are flowing it is difficult to shut them down.
Great things are coming! Tease! Tease! Some will be here soon and I can't wait - yes I have to wait also!**** I think you can guess what that means.
A reminder to all STITCH N PITCH is June 27 and I hear Jenny and Peggy are in competition mode. Come on girls, we have work to do! Get your baseball gear together!
Now for the sleep deprived, it is off to bed I go.
Happy Knitting dreams.

Return from TNNA
OMG!!! What an experience. Market was great! OCM is going to get some great "stuff". Some new yarns....trickets....and "stuff"...I can't wait. Market was huge. How Lisa gets through it AND places orders is amazing. We sat in on a couple of tip classes. One was with Louisa Harding. What a treat. She gave us some good ideas. There was also a tip class with Nicky Eptsien...just wait...what Lisa has in store will blow you away.
Lisa is great to travel with...there is never a dull moment. When we loose Lisa...we know she has started up a conversation with a stranger...they are never a stranger for very long. Lisa should have been in the FBI, she will know everything about everyone in one conversation. Vanessa and I were roomies again...btw...she talks in her sleep when her creative juices start flowing... :)) We always have a blast!!
On the drive back we drove into a storm on the way back...when the wind it us and the car moved...and when you are traveling at 80 mph it was a little scarey. Especially since the tornadoes hit Ohio the weekend before.
Just keep your ears open for Lisa to start announcing the new arrivals!!!

TNNA or BUST!
Well here it is the day before we leave. I can hardly keep my eyes open and I have to pack. Is there room for naked knitters at market? It sounds like the simplest way to travel!
Tomorrow- Road Trip! Hot Chicks that Knit or perhaps Menopausal Mama's with sticks! Out of our way here we come. Our mission is to bring you the most fantastic fibers out there for this winter. Stay tuned for further updates!
Thanks to Terri, I subscribed to my own post. I am blog handicappped.

Getting Started
It is high time I get this adventure underway! Having put this off for various reasons- mainly I am not sure about what I am doing-tonight I invite you in as I begin this journey.
Knitting is my passion and it calms me. My dear friend Lisa actually coined this phrase and this is for her and her knit shop. You must stop in if you are ever in Rogersville, MO just outside of Springfield. One City Market is a lovely shop in a refurbished two story home on the corner of Beatie and Highway B. The decor is vintage fabrics and antique front porch furniture- it is always welcoming and the inventory of yarn is sure to delight. If you don't find a yarn that you must have then you did not go inside. How about a gift for someone, OCM has that also.
Well so much for the introduction and getting started. We are off to Market in Columbus, Ohio, Lisa, Teresa, and myself, 3 chicks with a mission or two. Buy new and exciting yarn that will temp even the most disciplined knitter and have a great girls weekend with food, fun, and friends!
Keep watching and maybe I will give you all a taste of what is to come in the way of new and fun yarn and products. Be sure to ask Gretchen about her latest design!
